It
seems that these days with the corrosive additives mixed in gasoline,
it is recommended, your engine fuel line gas out of borda, including
draining carburetor. It is what I do this first
empty most of the fuel of my fuel tank internal engine outboard by
removing the lid and tilt backwards while that is secured with wooden
Sawhorse. Then with a funnel I made by down a windshield gallon plastic jug, I the fuel mixture on a 2.5 gas containers transfer litres. Once
I had removed most of the fuel, replace the motor outboard cover and
tilt back into the horse saw an empty 5 gallon bucket. Then
fill the bucket full of water and allow the hose into the bucket enough
water to be sure that the bucket was not water, running, while the
engine is running out.
Then the throttle engine and make sure that it is, that it is inactive until you pull out temporarily. There are fitted, run it in the Hall in a 5 gallon bucket, trust me, I know! Once started, point to the water through and out the engine will be not to adjust the engine. I
then hot enough to run without the choke, and then close the switch of
fuel in the position until it is no longer fuel and leaves enough. Once
it stopped, I know that no more fuel in the rubber, the carburetor and
cost me problems in the spring, when they will start. This also prevents unnecessary costs by it take it to the shop for repair. Preventive
maintenance is much easier and cheaper to wait until you have a
problem, especially in something as simple as a fuel is off remove your
outboard. It wasn't and is worth the penalty has been the certainty that has caused.
To
run the outboard of the water, an outboard motor is heard to use
muffin, you can almost anywhere less twenty bucks and slips on the water
inlet port at the bottom of the outer shaft. By
connecting a hose and water turn the outboard without the risk of
seizures do so due to the lack of sufficient always coolant in the head
can go from outboard motor.
Candle Tip: use a 5 gallon bucket in place because an engine out outboard earmuffs on my engine wouldn't work. My
water consumption is above the propeller and below the horizontal axis
instead of fin outboard motor is located on the side of the shaft as the
majority. Maybe has something to with my
outboard is a long shaft, which could be specifically for sailing, or
whether only by design as well. Works wonders on any case of the 5 gallon bucket, and I don't necessarily need a large barrel of water to initiate it. As soon as you're done with wintering there, I have in my basement, fat to keep the Fund in freezing cold weather. Until the next - happy navigation!
